How an Attio migration runs
Five steps. An Attio admin runs the export; we'll load it with you.

Start a workspace export in Attio
Click your workspace name, open Workspace settings and, on the General tab, click Start new export. Download the zip once it reaches 100%.

Mirror your deal stages
Create a SalesCrew pipeline with the same stages as your Attio deal status attribute, so each deal lands where your team expects it.

Import people into the Data Bank
Upload the People CSV, map its columns once and tag the batch. Rows match on email, and every import writes an audit row.

Create companies, deals, notes and tasks
The remaining CSVs load through company_create, deal_create, note_add and task_create, linked by the Attio record IDs in each file.

Connect mailboxes
Each teammate connects Gmail, Outlook or cPanel mail over IMAP and SMTP. The first sync backfills 90 days of threads onto the right people.
Your custom attributes become custom fields
If you built custom attributes on people, companies or deals in Attio, each one becomes a custom field on the matching SalesCrew record. You create the fields first, then map the export columns onto them during the import.
Once your data sits in SalesCrew, it lives in your own database, one project per client. Every action the app offers is also a tool on the SalesCrew MCP server, so your AI client can add a note or move a deal. Any external action it proposes waits in the approval queue for a person.
