Switch from monday CRM to SalesCrew

Export your monday account once, load the Contacts, Accounts and Deals boards into your own database, and let IMAP bring back 90 days of email.

An admin approves every new account by hand. Nothing is created until then. We reply by email; no newsletter, no sequence.

  • Contacts, accounts, deals, notes, tasks

Pipeline with weighted forecast and stage breakdown

A monday CRM to SalesCrew move starts from one monday.com account export: the Contacts, Accounts and Deals boards become SalesCrew contacts, companies and deals, email history returns through each mailbox over IMAP, and a standard import completes within 7 business days with migration help on every tier.

What to know before you export

  • monday.com's account export downloads every board, shareable and private, plus uploaded files, as one zip (checked on support.monday.com, September 2026).
  • The monday download link is valid for 24 hours, and a large account can take up to 24 hours to export.
  • Archived boards, workdocs, dashboards and the Emails & Activities timeline stay out of the monday export, so unarchive any board you need first.
  • SalesCrew matches imported contacts on email address, fills gaps in an existing record and never overwrites it.

Where each monday CRM board lands in SalesCrew

Save each board from the export zip as a CSV file before the import.

How a monday CRM migration runs

Five steps. A monday admin runs the export; we'll run the import with you.

  1. 1

Unarchive boards, then export the account

Restore any archived CRM board you want to keep. Then go to Administration, General, Account and click Export. Download the zip within 24 hours of the email.

  2. 2

    Match your deal stages

Create a SalesCrew pipeline whose stages match the status column on your monday Deals board, so every deal keeps its stage.

  3. 3

Load contacts into the Data Bank

Upload the Contacts board as CSV, map its columns once and tag the batch. Rows match on email, and each import writes an audit row.

  4. 4

Create accounts, deals, notes and tasks

The Accounts and Deals boards load through company_create and deal_create, notes through note_add and open to-dos through task_create.

  5. 5

    Connect mailboxes

Each rep connects Gmail, Outlook or cPanel mail over IMAP and SMTP. The first sync backfills 90 days of threads onto the right contacts.

Board automations become cadences and stages

If your team sells with monday board automations, those jobs move into SalesCrew pipeline stages and multi-step cadences. Cadences send from the mailbox pool with caps per mailbox and per domain, and suppression is checked again at the moment of send.

Your data then lives in your own database, and every action in the app is also a tool on the SalesCrew MCP server. Your AI client can add a note or move a deal for you. Any external action it proposes, like an email to a prospect, waits in the approval queue for a person.

Export workdocs separately

monday.com's account export leaves workdocs out, and its help centre suggests saving them as PDF first (checked on support.monday.com, September 2026). Once you're on SalesCrew, a full export of your own database is available any time, as a Postgres dump plus CSV.

Questions about leaving monday CRM

How do I export all my data from monday CRM?
An account admin clicks their profile picture, opens Administration, then General and Account, and clicks Export under Export account data. monday.com sends an email with a zip of every board, and that link is valid for 24 hours (checked on support.monday.com, September 2026). You can run the export once every 24 hours.
Does the monday account export include my email timeline?
monday.com's help centre says the Emails & Activities timeline is left out of the account export (checked September 2026). You bring email history across by connecting each mailbox to SalesCrew, and the first IMAP sync backfills the last 90 days of INBOX threads.
How long does a monday CRM to SalesCrew migration take?
A standard import completes within 7 business days once the monday export files reach us. Your team connects mailboxes on day one and keeps working while the boards load.
What happens to the columns on my monday boards?
Each column maps to a SalesCrew field. Standard columns like name, email, company and deal value map to built-in fields, and any extra column becomes a custom field on the matching record.
Is migration help included on every SalesCrew plan?
Yes. Every SalesCrew tier includes migration help and unlimited seats, starting at $299 a month.
