monday CRM vs Pipedrive

A CRM built on monday.com's boards, with plan caps and AI agents from Standard, against a CRM built around the deal pipeline.

An admin approves every new account by hand. Nothing is created until then. We reply by email; no newsletter, no sequence.

Pipeline with weighted forecast and stage breakdown

Choose monday CRM when sales shares one workspace with projects and delivery, and you want AI agents on boards you shape yourself. Choose Pipedrive when your reps work from a deal pipeline and you want lead capture, meeting intelligence and a large marketplace around it.

The short answer

  • monday CRM prices per seat on Basic, Standard, Pro and Enterprise, and each plan caps contacts, automations and quotes (monday.com/crm/pricing, checked 24 September 2026).
  • monday CRM includes AI credits and named AI agents from the Standard plan up.
  • Pipedrive's features page lists pipeline management, LeadBooster, Pipedrive AI, Nova meeting intelligence, Projects and a mobile app (checked 24 September 2026).
  • Pipedrive's pricing page showed a bot check to our fetch, so this page quotes no Pipedrive price.

What each one does well, and where it costs you

monday CRM

  • Sales and delivery can share one workspace, which cuts the hand-off at signature
  • AI agents for calling, sourcing and meeting prep come inside the plan from Standard
  • Per-plan caps on contacts, automations and quotes mean growth can force an upgrade
  • Its help centre sits behind a browser challenge, so answers are harder to read from outside

Pipedrive

  • Reps open the tool to their pipeline and learn it fast
  • A large marketplace covers calling, marketing and data add-ons
  • Its pricing page blocked our automated check, so confirm current prices in a browser
  • Work that is not a deal fits less naturally than on a board system

How to choose between monday CRM and Pipedrive

Ask who else needs the CRM. If delivery, onboarding or account teams want the same records, monday CRM keeps them on one platform. If only sales touches it, Pipedrive's pipeline-first screen gets reps working faster.

Next, count against the caps. monday CRM limits active contacts, automations and quotes per plan, so match your monthly volume to a tier before you compare seat prices. Then look at AI. Both vendors ship agents, and what matters is which ones may act without a person's sign-off.

Choose neither when your deal flow is a handful of referrals a month. A shared inbox and a spreadsheet cover that. Our HubSpot vs monday CRM page covers monday's other common matchup, and what a good AI approval workflow looks like explains the sign-off question.

Questions

Is monday CRM or Pipedrive better for a sales team that also runs projects?
monday CRM suits that mix, because it sits on the same board system monday.com uses for work management. Deals, onboarding tasks and delivery boards can live in one account. Pipedrive lists a Projects feature too, but its centre of gravity is the deal pipeline. Pick by where your team spends most of its day.
How is monday CRM priced?
monday CRM prices per seat across Basic, Standard, Pro and Enterprise, and you pick a team size when you buy. Each plan caps active contacts and deals, automations per month and quotes per month. AI credits and the AI agents start on Standard. Figures change often, so read them on monday.com/crm/pricing on the day you buy (structure checked 24 September 2026).
Do monday CRM and Pipedrive have AI agents?
Both do. monday CRM lists an outreach caller agent, a lead sourcer agent, a meeting prep agent and a build-your-own agent on Standard and above. Pipedrive lists Pipedrive AI, Nova meeting intelligence and an MCP server for ChatGPT and Claude. Check what each agent may send without a person's sign-off before you switch one on.
Can you connect ChatGPT or Claude to either CRM?
Yes. Pipedrive MCP connects both assistants through an OAuth login, and it can find deals, update records and create activities. monday.com publishes an MCP page plus setup articles for each AI client. Both were live on 24 September 2026.
Is there a CRM where AI agents wait for approval before they send?
Yes. SalesCrew puts every AI action through one approval queue, and every agent ships in review mode. A kill switch stops every agent at once. Core costs $299 a month with unlimited seats. SalesCrew is our product.
