Attio vs Pipedrive
A CRM you shape around your own data model, against a CRM shaped around the sales pipeline. How much of your work fits a deal board decides it.

Choose Attio when your records need custom objects and your team wants AI agents metered in credits on a flexible data model. Choose Pipedrive when your team lives in a visual deal pipeline and wants lead capture, meeting notes and a mobile app around it from day one.
The short answer
- Attio prices per user on Free, Plus, Pro and Enterprise; Pro and Enterprise allow unlimited seats (attio.com/pricing, checked 24 September 2026).
- Attio meters AI and automation in seat credits and workspace credits, and sells extra workspace credit packs.
- Pipedrive builds around the pipeline, with LeadBooster, Pipedrive AI, Nova meeting intelligence and a marketplace listed on its features page (checked 24 September 2026).
- Both vendors publish an MCP server, so ChatGPT and Claude can read and write records in either CRM.

What each one does well, and where it costs you
Attio
- Custom objects let you track things a deal board can't, such as investors, partners or hires
- Pro and Enterprise remove the seat cap, so adding viewers does not change the plan limit
- Credits sit on top of seat prices, so heavy AI or workflow use adds a second bill to watch
- A flexible model takes setup time before the first deal moves
Pipedrive
- Reps see their pipeline first and learn the tool fast
- A large marketplace and a mobile app extend it without a rebuild
- Its pricing page blocked our automated check, so confirm current prices in a browser
- A record that is not a lead, person, company or deal has to be forced into those shapes
How to choose between Attio and Pipedrive
Draw your sales process on paper first. If every box is a stage a deal moves through, Pipedrive fits the drawing as it is. You'll spend your first week selling, not modelling.
If the drawing has boxes that are not deals, Attio fits better. Think of investor lists, a partner network or hiring. Attio lets you build an object for each and link them to people and companies.
Then price the AI you'll use. Attio meters agent and workflow work in credits, so estimate your monthly runs before you pick a plan. Choose neither if your team is two people with a short list: a spreadsheet covers that until volume grows. Questions
- Is Attio or Pipedrive easier for a small sales team?
- Pipedrive is usually quicker to learn for a team that only moves deals through stages. Its main screen is the pipeline, and lead management, email sync and a mobile app sit around it. Attio asks for more setup up front because you shape the objects and lists yourself. That setup pays off when your records don't fit the lead, deal and company mould.
- Do Attio and Pipedrive both work with ChatGPT and Claude?
- Yes. Attio lists an MCP server, the API, webhooks and an App SDK on its pricing page. Pipedrive MCP connects ChatGPT and Claude through an OAuth login and lets the assistant find deals, update records and create activities. Both pages were checked on 24 September 2026.
- How does Attio's pricing differ from Pipedrive's?
- Attio prices per user each month across Free, Plus, Pro and Enterprise. Free and Plus cap the seat count, while Pro and Enterprise allow unlimited seats. On top of seats, Attio meters AI and automation work in seat credits and workspace credits, with extra credit packs for sale. Pipedrive's pricing page showed a bot check to our fetch on 24 September 2026, so we quote no Pipedrive figure.
- Can I move from Pipedrive to Attio, or the other way?
- Yes. Plan it as an export from one tool and an import into the other, with every field mapped before you load it. Automations and sequences live in each tool's own settings, so you rebuild them by hand. Test a small import first, then run the full one.
- Is there a CRM that runs outreach with unlimited seats on every plan?
- Yes. SalesCrew includes unlimited seats on every tier, from Core at $299 a month. Every AI action waits in one approval queue you control, and each client gets its own database. SalesCrew is our product.
