Attio vs Salesforce
Attio is a newer CRM you can shape and start free. Salesforce Sales Cloud is a large platform sold in editions, billed yearly from Pro Suite up.

Choose Attio when you want a flexible CRM your team can set up without an admin, starting on a free plan. Choose Salesforce when you need editions with deep quoting, forecasting, security controls and Agentforce, and you have people to run it.
The short answer

Where each one is strong, and where it costs you
Attio
- A free plan with workflows, sequences and AI agents lets a team start in an afternoon
- The MCP server and App SDK are on every plan, so developers and AI assistants get in early
- Records and reports are capped per plan
- Extra AI use means buying workspace credits
Salesforce Sales Cloud
- Editions scale from a Free Suite to Max with Agentforce, so a company rarely outgrows it
- Quoting, forecasting, Slack and Tableau come inside the higher editions
- Pro Suite and every edition above it are billed yearly per user
- AI starts at the Core edition, so smaller editions add it only by moving up
How to choose between Attio and Salesforce
Count the people who'll run the CRM, not only the people who'll use it. Salesforce rewards a company with an admin or a partner who can configure editions, flows and permissions. You get a platform that grows with a large sales org.
If nobody on the team wants that job, Attio is easier to live with. You can model your own objects, build workflows and connect an AI assistant without a consultant. You'll pay per user, but you'll start free.
Contract terms matter too. Salesforce bills yearly from Pro Suite, so you're committed for twelve months. Choose neither if you're two people with a short list. Read HubSpot vs Salesforce and Salesforce vs Zoho CRM for the other common matchups.
Attio and Salesforce questions
- Is Attio a real alternative to Salesforce?
- For many startups and mid-size teams, yes. Attio covers custom objects, workflows, sequences, reports and AI agents, with plans from Free to a custom Enterprise tier (attio.com/pricing, checked September 2026). Salesforce Sales Cloud runs from a Free Suite up to its Max edition, with quoting, forecasting, Slack and Tableau in higher editions. The deciding question is how much admin work your process needs.
- How does Salesforce price Sales Cloud?
- Salesforce prices every paid Sales Cloud edition per user. Starter Suite can be billed monthly or yearly, while Pro Suite and the editions above it are billed yearly. AI can be added from the Core edition up, and Max includes Agentforce for Sales with Flex Credits (salesforce.com/sales/pricing, checked September 2026).
- Where does AI sit in Attio and in Salesforce?
- Attio includes Ask Attio and AI agents on every plan, metered in seat and workspace credits. Salesforce adds AI from its Core edition and bundles Agentforce for Sales and Agentforce Coworker in Max. Both were checked on the vendors' pricing pages in September 2026.
- How hard is it to move from Salesforce to Attio?
- Plan for a real project. Export your objects from Salesforce, map each one to an Attio object, and rebuild the automations you rely on as Attio workflows. Custom Salesforce code and flows won't come across as-is. Run both side by side for a month before you switch off the old system.
- Is there a CRM with one price for any number of users?
- SalesCrew charges one monthly price per instance with unlimited seats; Core is $299 a month. Every action is also an MCP tool, and each client gets its own database with full export. SalesCrew is our product.
