Outreach vs Salesloft

Two sales engagement platforms sold through sales: Outreach bundles AI credits into four packages, and Salesloft sells modules beside Clari Forecast.

An admin approves every new account by hand. Nothing is created until then. We reply by email; no newsletter, no sequence.

Where each platform holds up

Outreach

  • Package names and AI credit amounts are published, so you can size the AI budget before the call
  • Six named AI agents cover research, personalisation, deals and meeting prep
  • Forecasting sits on the top Amplify Pro package
  • AI use draws down credits, so heavy agent use can push you up a package

Salesloft

  • Clari Forecast and Inspect sit beside cadences for teams that run weekly pipeline reviews
  • Cadence, Conversation Intelligence, Deals and Rhythm come as one set for account teams
  • The pricing page shows no billing basis, so the quote is the first real number you see
  • Revenue-leader modules add to the product set a small team must learn

How to choose between Outreach and Salesloft

Start with who runs the pipeline review. If a sales leader forecasts every Monday, Salesloft with Clari Forecast puts cadences and the forecast on one platform. If reps just need sequences and help with research, Outreach's packages bundle that with a known AI allowance.

Then get both quotes at your real seat count. For a small team, ask which package or modules you'd use in the first 90 days, and don't pay for the rest. You'll want the AI credit cost of your most common action in writing too.

Choose neither if your team is under five reps and books most meetings by email. A CRM with sequences covers that at a published price. Our lemlist vs Smartlead and Smartlead vs Apollo pages cover lighter outbound tools.

Outreach vs Salesloft questions

Do Outreach and Salesloft publish prices?
No. Both pricing pages ask you to contact sales. Outreach describes per-user pricing with no platform fees, plus AI credits by package. Salesloft lists its modules but no billing basis. Ask each for a quote at your exact seat count (both read on 24 September 2026).
What are Outreach's packages?
Outreach sells four Amplify packages: Essentials with 10,000 AI credits, Core with 25,000, Plus with 50,000 and Pro with 100,000. Forecasting sits on Pro. Each AI action has a set credit cost, on top of per-user seat pricing (outreach.ai/pricing, checked 24 September 2026).
What does Salesloft include?
Salesloft lists Cadence, Conversation Intelligence, Deals and Rhythm for account teams. For revenue leaders it lists Clari Forecast, Inspect, Revenue Cadences and Analytics. It also names AI Agents and MCP to connect agents to shared revenue context (salesloft.com/pricing, checked 24 September 2026).
Are Outreach and Salesloft too big for a team of five?
They can be. Both sell through a sales conversation and price per user or by module, which suits teams with a sales ops owner. A team of five should ask for the smallest package, then list which modules they would use in month one before signing.
Is there a sales engagement tool with a published price?
Yes. SalesCrew publishes one monthly price with unlimited seats: Core is $299 a month and includes the CRM, shared inbox, multi-step cadences and an MCP server. SalesCrew is our product.
