Where each CRM holds up

Pipedrive

  • Reps open the tool to their pipeline and learn it fast
  • MCP access for ChatGPT and Claude comes on every plan
  • Lead capture, email campaigns and documents are add-ons that raise the bill
  • Its pricing page blocks automated readers, so check prices in a browser

Salesforce

  • Six editions let a company start on Free Suite and grow into Max
  • Advanced adds backup, data detection and a security centre for regulated teams
  • Core, Advanced and Max are billed annually, so you commit for a full year
  • The full Agentforce for Sales set sits on the top Max edition

How to choose between Pipedrive and Salesforce

Start with who will run the CRM. If nobody on your team wants to be an admin, Pipedrive's pipeline-first setup gets reps working quickly. If you have a sales ops person and custom objects to model, Salesforce gives them room.

Then count your year-one seats and the add-ons you'll really use. Pipedrive's add-ons and Salesforce's annual billing both change the total more than the headline seat price. Ask for the full year's cost in writing from each.

Choose neither if most of your pipeline comes from cold email across many mailboxes; a sending tool plus a lighter CRM fits that better. Our HubSpot vs Salesforce and HubSpot vs Pipedrive pages cover each tool's other common matchup, and GoHighLevel vs Pipedrive covers the agency angle.

Pipedrive vs Salesforce questions

Is Pipedrive easier to use than Salesforce?
For a small sales team, usually yes. Pipedrive opens on a visual deal pipeline and keeps the feature set focused on selling. Salesforce Sales Cloud spans six editions, from Free Suite to Max, with deeper customisation, security and AI at the top. The more you customise, the more you'll want an admin.
How are Pipedrive and Salesforce priced?
Both price per user per month. Salesforce lists a per-user price for each edition and bills Core, Advanced and Max annually. Pipedrive's pricing page sat behind a bot check when we read it, so confirm its figures in a browser. Structure checked on both vendor pages on 24 September 2026.
Do Pipedrive and Salesforce offer a free trial?
Yes. Pipedrive offers a 14-day free trial of its plans. Salesforce offers a free 30-day trial for all Sales Cloud editions and also has a Free Suite. Both were read on the vendors' own pages on 24 September 2026.
Can I connect ChatGPT or Claude to Pipedrive or Salesforce?
Yes, both. Pipedrive MCP connects ChatGPT and Claude over OAuth on every plan and can create and update deals, contacts and activities. Salesforce describes hosted MCP servers for CRM data, Data Cloud and Tableau, reached through per-user OAuth. Check which records each token can change before you connect.
Is there a CRM with one price for the whole team?
Yes. SalesCrew charges one monthly price with unlimited seats on every tier, from $299 a month for Core. Every action is also an MCP tool, and AI actions wait in one approval queue. SalesCrew is our product.
