Follow Up Boss wins on price transparency and fit for an agent who already has a lead source and a website: it publishes a real per-user rate and is explicitly built as a CRM layer, not a bundled website or IDX product. BoldTrail wins instead for a brokerage that wants a website, IDX and CRM bundled into one platform, though nothing about its price is public.

The short answer

  • Follow Up Boss's Grow tier is $69/user/month monthly ($58/user/month annually); its Pro tier is a flat $499/month including 10 users ($49/month per additional user), per followupboss.com/pricing.
  • kvCORE has been succeeded by BoldTrail; the old kvcore.com/pricing page is a dead 404, and insiderealestate.com/kvcore/ now redirects permanently to boldtrail.com, which publishes no pricing figure on any of its four tiers.
  • Lofty (formerly Chime) publishes no pricing across its four named tiers, Agent, Team, Broker and Enterprise; every tier says 'Request Pricing' with no dollar figure disclosed, per lofty.com/pricing.

How the three differ in practice

Follow Up Boss

Built deliberately as an integration-first CRM rather than an all-in-one platform, with automated drip campaigns, lead routing and, at higher tiers, AI-generated smart summaries and predictive lead prioritization. Its Pro and Platform tiers bundle a flat monthly rate with a set number of included users before per-seat overage kicks in, which is unusually transparent for this category. Not for: an agent who wants a website and IDX listings bundled into the same product rather than sourced separately.

BoldTrail

The successor brand to kvCORE, positioned around a 'Smart CRM' with behavioral-trigger marketing automation, listing alerts and market reports, sold with an add-on marketplace for extra capability. Its copy leans toward broker and team back-office needs rather than a solo agent's simpler CRM requirement, and nothing about pricing is self-serve. Not for: a solo agent wanting to see a number before engaging a sales conversation.

Lofty

Structures itself across four named tiers, Agent, Team, Broker and Enterprise, with a basic dialer included at the base tier and a Power Dialer available as an add-on, plus AI lead scoring and 'Smart Plans' marketing automation for drip follow-up. SSO and white-labeling are reserved for the Broker tier and above. Not for: a buyer wanting cost transparency before committing to a demo across any of its four tiers.

When none of these is the answer

A newer agent with only a handful of active leads and no team to coordinate does not need a dedicated real estate CRM with drip automation and lead routing; a simple spreadsheet or a general-purpose CRM's free tier tracks that pipeline without the per-user cost these tools assume from day one.

SalesCrew is not included in the ranking above because it has no MLS or IDX integration and no real-estate-specific lead-routing logic; those are the job of a dedicated real estate CRM, not a general one. A team running a broader business alongside real estate referrals, an agency or a multi-line operation, is the more likely fit for SalesCrew, not a single-line residential agent choosing among the three above.

Questions

Is kvCORE still a product I can buy?
The kvCORE brand has been succeeded by BoldTrail; Insider Real Estate's own kvCORE page permanently redirects to boldtrail.com, where the headline describes BoldTrail as 'the next generation of kvCORE.' Treat any current comparison as being about BoldTrail, not a still-sold kvCORE product.
Which of these publishes a real price?
Only Follow Up Boss, among the three checked here. Its Grow tier is $69/user/month monthly ($58/user/month annually), and its Pro tier is a flat $499/month including 10 users. BoldTrail and Lofty both require a sales conversation before any number appears.
Do any of these include a website or IDX listings?
Follow Up Boss explicitly positions itself as an 'open OS' layer without a website builder or IDX functionality of its own, meant to pair with a separate lead-gen or website product. BoldTrail and Lofty both reference IDX websites as part of their platform on their own marketing pages.
Is any of these built for a solo agent versus a team?
Follow Up Boss scales cleanly from a single user upward with per-user pricing. BoldTrail's and Lofty's public messaging leans toward brokers and teams, with broker- and team-oriented terms like 'front and back office' and multi-tier structures (Agent, Team, Broker, Enterprise) that suggest a solo agent may be paying for capacity they don't use.
