How much does Clay cost?
Paid plans from $167 a month with unlimited seats. Actions and data credits set the real bill, and top-ups carry a 30% premium.

The short answer
- Clay's paid plans start at $167 a month for Launch and $446 a month for Growth on monthly billing, with unlimited seats, per clay.com/pricing in September 2026. Annual billing saves 10%.
- Clay meters usage twice: actions for the work Clay runs and data credits for data bought from its providers, and each plan includes a monthly amount of both.
- Clay's credit top-ups cost a 30% premium over plan rates, so running out mid-month is the most expensive way to buy Clay usage.
- SalesCrew Core is $299 a month with unlimited seats and holds the CRM, inbox and cadences in one place, so pipeline work after enrichment spends no credits.
You pay for usage, not people
Clay doesn't price by seat. Every plan on the Clay pricing page includes unlimited seats, and the price climbs with the usage you commit to. Launch starts at $167 a month with 15,000 actions and 3,000 data credits. Growth starts at $446 a month with 40,000 actions and 6,000 data credits. Both plans scale up to 200,000 actions and 50,000 data credits a month.
That makes Clay easy to share across a team. It also means your bill tracks how many rows you enrich and how many steps each row runs through, so a wide table with many columns costs more than a narrow one.

Two meters decide the bill
Actions cover the work Clay does for you. Clay counts enrichment runs, table operations, AI model calls, third-party syncs and exports against them. Data credits cover the data itself, bought from Clay's 150+ providers. Connect a provider with your own API key and Clay skips the data credit charge, though the action still counts.
Rollover is capped. Launch and Growth carry over up to 1 month's credits, which Clay states as 15% of annual credits. If you run short, top-ups cost a 30% premium. You'll pay the least by picking a tier that covers your normal month and buying nothing extra.
Where SalesCrew picks up after Clay
Clay builds the list. SalesCrew works it. You bring enriched contacts into the SalesCrew data bank by CSV, build ICPs and segments, and run cadences from your own mailbox pool. Replies land in one inbox, and deals move on a kanban with a weighted forecast. None of that spends a credit: SalesCrew Core is $299 a month with unlimited seats.

Questions
- Is Clay free?
- Clay has a free plan with 500 actions and 100 data credits a month and unlimited seats, per clay.com/pricing in September 2026. Free tables stop at 200 rows, and phone enrichment is left out. Clay also lists a 14-day free trial.
- What is the difference between Clay actions and data credits?
- Actions pay for the work Clay does, such as enrichment runs, table operations, AI model calls, syncs and exports. Data credits pay for data bought from Clay's 150+ providers. A single enriched row can spend both, per Clay's pricing page in September 2026.
- Do Clay credits roll over?
- Partly. On Launch and Growth, Clay rolls over up to 1 month's credits, which it states as 15% of annual credits, checked September 2026. Anything past that resets. Enterprise rollover terms are set in the contract.
- Can you use your own API keys in Clay?
- Yes. Clay's pricing page says a provider connected with your own API key skips the data credit charge, as read in September 2026. The action that runs the lookup still counts against your monthly actions.
