What can the Apollo MCP server do?

How the Apollo MCP server works
Apollo's MCP server exposes your Apollo account to an AI client as a set of tools. You describe the audience you want in plain words, and the client calls Apollo's search. Ask it to enrich a list, and it pulls emails and phone numbers, then writes them back to the Apollo record.
You connect it one of two ways. Most people use the Apollo connector already listed in Claude or ChatGPT. Anything else that speaks MCP can use the server URL, mcp.apollo.io/mcp. Either way, you sign in with your Apollo login over OAuth.
Apollo sums up the limits in one line: what you can do in Apollo, you can do from your AI tool. So your plan's credits and your user's rights set the ceiling, not the MCP server.

- Yes, on any Apollo plan. Apollo's MCP page says any plan qualifies, including free, and that there's no separate MCP subscription or added cost. Your normal account limits still apply, so an enrichment call from Claude counts the way the same action in Apollo would.
- Which AI tools work with Apollo MCP?
- Apollo names Claude, ChatGPT and Perplexity, as of September 2026. Any other MCP client can connect with the server URL, mcp.apollo.io/mcp, pasted into its MCP settings. Apollo recommends the built-in connector in each AI platform where one exists.
