Upwork RSS feed alternatives for agencies
Upwork's job RSS is gone. Agencies now pick between alert bots, filtered scanners and a CRM feed that tracks each bid to its outcome.

The short answer
- Upwork no longer offers job RSS feeds, so agencies replace them with one of three things: a job-alert bot, a filtered scanner or a CRM with an Upwork module.
- Job-alert tools such as GigRadar and Vollna post new Upwork jobs to Slack, Telegram and other channels, with 50+ and 30+ filters respectively, per their own sites in September 2026.
- A CRM Upwork module such as SalesCrew's runs saved searches on the Upwork API, gates each job against your criteria, and records every proposal and its outcome.
- Pick the replacement by what you need after the alert: speed alone, or a win rate by category you can measure.
What the old RSS feed actually gave you
An Upwork RSS feed was a list of new jobs matching a search, and nothing more. You got the title, a snippet and a link. Every filter beyond the search words was yours to apply by eye, in a reader, one job at a time.
That's why so many agencies bolted a script or a Slack bot onto it. When Upwork removed the feature, those setups broke overnight. GigRadar's own page on the subject calls the old feed "slow and unfiltered". Speed was never the only gap, though. The feed stopped at the alert, so nobody could tell which searches led to hires.
Three ways to replace the Upwork RSS feed
What each option does with a new job. Vendor facts are read on each vendor's own site.
| Option | Where jobs arrive | Filtering | After the alert | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| GigRadar | Slack, Telegram or web notifications | 50+ job parameters, including client spend and rating | Alerts also cover proposal replies and invitations | gigradar.io |
| Vollna | Telegram, Slack, Discord, email, push and RSS | 30+ attributes, including budget, skills and competition level | Alert delivery to the channel you pick | vollna.com |
| SalesCrew (our product) | A gated job list inside the CRM | Your thresholds on client spend, hire rate, category and budget | Proposal recorded against job and profile; outcome written back; winning clients become records | Disclosure: SalesCrew is our product. |

Choose by what happens after the alert
If your bidders just want to be first on a job, an alert bot is the direct swap. You get a message in Slack or Telegram, someone opens the job, and they bid. It's the same habit the RSS feed built, with better filters on top.
If you run several profiles and more than one bidder, the question changes. You'll want to know which searches, categories and profiles actually produce interviews and hires. An alert in a chat channel leaves no trail. A job that lands in your CRM does, because the proposal and its result stay attached to it.
SalesCrew's Upwork module is built for that second case. Saved searches run on a schedule against the Upwork API. A gate filters each job before your team sees it, and every proposal is recorded with the profile that sent it. Outcomes (interviewed, hired or no reply) are written back, so win rate by category is a query. The module is part of the Agency plan at $1,200 a month with unlimited seats. Questions
- Does Upwork still have an RSS feed for jobs?
- No. Upwork removed the job RSS feature, and agencies that relied on it moved to alert tools or a CRM feed. Vollna's own site quotes a user who switched after the removal. If an old feed URL still sits in your reader, it won't bring you new jobs.
- What is the fastest way to get Upwork job alerts in Slack?
- Use an alert tool that posts to Slack. As of September 2026, GigRadar lists Slack, Telegram and web notifications, and Vollna lists Telegram, Slack, Discord, email, push and RSS. Set tight filters first, or a Slack channel fills up just like the old feed did.
- Can I get Upwork jobs into my CRM instead of a chat app?
- Yes, if the CRM has an Upwork module. SalesCrew runs your saved searches against the Upwork API on a schedule, gates each job against your thresholds, and lists the ones that pass. Each proposal is then recorded against the job and the profile that sent it, so a job moves into the pipeline.
- What filters matter most in an Upwork job feed?
- Client spend, hire rate, budget and category do most of the work. GigRadar says it filters on 50+ job parameters and Vollna on 30+ attributes, checked September 2026. Start with four or five, then add more only when the list is still too long to read.
