How does my team share and work the AI task queue?

AI work waits as tasks in one queue. With the shared queue on, anyone on the team can see every waiting task and work it with their own Claude. Each task still names the person it is assigned to. Whoever claims a task does the work, and the result is recorded under their name, marked AI.

What you will need

  • An active account in SalesCrew.
  • An AI token from My AI › Setup, and your Claude connected as salescrew-<your-workspace>.
  • To switch the shared queue on or off: the CEO or a BDM.

Steps

  1. 1

    Step 1

Open My AI › Queue. With the shared queue on, you see every waiting task. The Assigned to column names the owner of each one.

  2. 2

    Step 2

Turn on Mine only to see just the tasks assigned to you, or the ones you claimed.

  3. 3

    Step 3

In Claude, say *"check salescrew"*. Claude calls ai_tasks_pending and gets the same list, with assigned_to_name on each task.

  4. 4

    Step 4

Claude calls ai_task_claim. It takes your own tasks first. To take a task someone else owns, pass its id in task_ids.

  5. 5

    Step 5

Claude works the task and calls ai_task_complete. The result applies at once and is logged as you, marked AI.

  6. 6

    Step 6

Cannot finish it? Claude calls ai_task_release. The task goes back to the queue for anyone else.

  7. 7

    Step 7

To change the rule, open Settings › AI and use the Shared AI queue switch. Off means each person sees and works only their own tasks. Claude can do the same with ai_settings_set and shared_queue.

Common errors

"Already claimed by …"
a teammate has that task. Ask them, or wait for them to release it.
"Assigned to … and the shared AI queue is switched off"
only the owner can work it while the switch is off.
"You have no AI executor token"
make one in My AI › Setup first.
Nothing waiting, but a teammate has tasks
the shared queue is off. Ask the CEO or a BDM.

How you know it worked

The task shows Done in My AI › My results for the person who worked it. The record's timeline shows the change under that person, marked AI. Today reminds only the person a task is assigned to, so nobody gets a reminder twice.

Where this goes in SalesCrew

My AI › Queue shows the task as Done under the person who worked it. In your own workspace the same how-to opens beside the field, with your callback URLs filled in.
