How do I set up the Upwork job feed and its Premium gate?
Save an Upwork search under Channels → Upwork → Feed, then set the Premium rules on the Feed setup tab to gate which jobs you see. SalesCrew polls each search on its own schedule and files every job as Matched, Premium, New clients or Filtered out.
What you will need
- At least one Upwork profile authorized in SalesCrew. The how-to on creating an Upwork API key walks you through it.
- The marketplaces module on, and the Upwork channel in your access scope.
Steps

In SalesCrew, open Channels → Upwork, then the Feed setup tab. Check that your profile shows API: connected under Connections per profile. Set one profile as Default.

Go to the Feed tab and click + (New search). Give it a name you'll know, such as React, verified clients.

Fill in the search the way you would on upwork.com: Search terms (all), Any of (OR), Exact phrases and Exclude. Add budget, hourly rate and proposal limits if you want them.

Set Poll interval (minutes). The default is 60. Save, and SalesCrew schedules the search at once.

Back on Feed setup, click Edit Premium rules. This is the gate. One rule set applies to every saved search.

Set the client rules you care about: Payment verified, Min total spent ($), Min hire rate (%) and Min rating (0–5). Blank fields stay off.

Set the job rules: Strict hourly floor ($/h), Max proposals, Max job age (hours) and Banned keywords. Turn on Premium rules enabled and save.

Open Parity with upwork.com and click Check on your search. It shows the API total beside the upwork.com query, so you can compare the two.
Common errors
- The feed stays empty
- the profile's API link expired. Re-authorize it under Settings → Upwork API.
- Everything lands in Filtered out
- a Premium rule is too tight. Open a job there; it shows the rule that failed.
- A good job never shows
- the search terms differ from upwork.com. Use Test a job against this search with the job's link.
How you know it worked
The Feed tab lists your search. Its Matched bucket holds jobs, and Premium holds the ones that pass your gate. From a Premium job, Propose via approval puts your bid in Agents → Approvals.
Where this goes in SalesCrew
Channels → Upwork → Feed shows your search with Matched and Premium jobs. In your own workspace the same how-to opens beside the field, with your callback URLs filled in.
