How do I add client workspaces and reuse one setup as a template?
An agency runs one workspace per client from its agency dashboard. Add a workspace, then apply a template so it starts with your setup. A template copies settings, never contacts. The Workspaces page can also show leads, meetings, wins and costs for each client side by side.
What you will need
- Owner or admin rights on the agency team. Members can look, but not change.
- One live workspace whose setup you want to reuse, such as SalesCrew.
Steps
- 1
Step 1
Open your agency dashboard and go to Workspaces. Click Add workspace.
- 2
Step 2
Type the client name. The workspace name fills in by itself. Add the client admin's e-mail if they should get an invite now.
- 3
Step 3
Click Add workspace. If the platform team checks new workspaces first, it shows as waiting. It appears in the list once approved.
- 4
Step 4
Go to Templates and click Create from workspace. Pick the workspace whose setup you want and name the template.
- 5
Step 5
Click Apply to… on the template and tick the new workspace. Merge adds and updates. It removes nothing.
- 6
Step 6
Click Set default on a template so every new workspace starts from it.
- 7
Step 7
Open a workspace with Open. You get a sign-in link that works for ten minutes. A template carries modules, labels, pipelines, fields, prompts and settings. It also carries your analytics and media connections, but only their settings. Keys never travel. Those connections arrive switched off. Add the client's own keys under Settings › Integrations.
Common errors
- "Verify the agency e-mail domain first"
- your agency requires its own sending domain. Finish it under Settings.
- The template did not apply to one workspace
- that workspace was paused or did not answer. Apply again later.
- No marketing columns on Workspaces
- the platform has not switched on the agency roll-up yet.
How you know it worked
The workspace shows active on Workspaces. Open it and check that Settings › Deployment shows the modules from your template.
Where this goes in SalesCrew
The new workspace shows as active on the Workspaces page with your template applied. In your own workspace the same how-to opens beside the field, with your callback URLs filled in.
