We fixed five criteria before scoring. A database dedicated to you counts 30%. Who runs servers and backups counts 25%, because upkeep is the cost most teams miss. Full export counts 15%, cost for a 10-person team counts 15%, and AI agent access counts 15%.

How to choose a CRM that keeps your data yours
Upkeep. A free self-hosted CRM still needs someone to patch the server, test backups and restore them. SalesCrew runs that work for you, with daily backups and security controls on every instance.
Isolation. Ask where your rows physically sit. In SalesCrew each client runs in a separate project, which is what single-tenant means in practice.
