How HubSpot Credits work and what they cost
Each paid tier includes a monthly credit allotment that resets, every agent action burns a listed rate, and overage is billed per credit.

The short answer
- HubSpot Credits are the unit HubSpot charges for AI agents and automation. Starter includes 500 credits a month, Professional 3,000 and Enterprise 5,000, as of September 2026.
- HubSpot Credits reset every month and unused credits do not roll over, so the included allotment works as a monthly budget.
- Each HubSpot feature burns a set rate from the Credits Rate Sheet: 100 credits for the Prospecting agent to recommend outreach for one lead, 10 for the Data agent to answer one prompt on one record.
- SalesCrew includes a fair-use AI allowance on Core, alerts at 80%, stops AI at 100% while every manual path keeps working, and sells more at $10 per 1,000 credits.
Where HubSpot Credits come from
Every paid HubSpot product includes some credits. The amount depends on your highest tier, not on how many Hubs you buy. A company with Sales Hub Enterprise and Marketing Hub Professional gets the Enterprise allotment of 5,000, once. The Data Hub and Customer Platform bundles carry larger allotments of up to 10,000 on Enterprise.
Included credits are spent before any paid ones. When you run out, HubSpot either bills overage per credit or, if you set it up, upgrades your capacity for the rest of your term. On the next reset date, your limit drops back to the original allotment.

How fast an allotment goes
The rates look small until you multiply them. Ask the Prospecting agent to recommend outreach for 30 leads and you've used 30 × 100 credits, which is the whole Professional allotment of 3,000. Three pieces from the Content agent use the same 3,000.
HubSpot notes that automated, bulk and high-volume features burn credits faster, and that an agent may also use telephony minutes or SMS billed on top. Set a credit limit per feature in your account before you switch an agent on for a whole segment.
How SalesCrew charges for AI
SalesCrew prices AI as an allowance with hard caps. Core at $299 a month includes about 5,000 model calls for drafts, summaries, scoring and AI fields. You get an alert at 80% of the allowance, and AI stops at 100%. Your team keeps working by hand the whole time.
More AI costs $10 for 1,000 credits when you hit the cap. With BYOK at $99 a month, your own Anthropic key runs the AI and the allowance isn't touched. Every AI action is logged with its cost, and every AI send waits in one approval queue.
Turning on an agent for a whole list can drain a month in a day
Questions
- Do unused HubSpot Credits roll over?
- No. HubSpot Credits reset monthly during your subscription term, and unused credits do not roll over into the next month, per HubSpot's Product & Services Catalog checked September 2026. Plan your included allotment as a monthly budget, not a balance.
- How much do extra HubSpot Credits cost?
- Extra HubSpot Credits cost $0.010 each on Pay-as-You-Go, invoiced in increments of 10, as of September 2026. A capacity pack adds 1,000 credits a month for $10 for the rest of your term. Overages are billed monthly after they're used.
- Are HubSpot Credits added together across Hubs?
- No. Included credits are not additive across products. HubSpot gives you the highest single allotment based on your highest subscription tier, so Sales Hub Professional plus Marketing Hub Professional still means 3,000 credits a month, per the catalog checked September 2026.
- What uses the most HubSpot Credits?
- The agents that act per lead or per piece of content. On HubSpot's rate sheet, checked September 2026, the Content agent uses 1,000 credits per piece and the Revenue agent 500 per invoice. The Prospecting agent uses 100 per lead, and the Customer agent 50 per resolved conversation.
