How do I set which countries we may call or message, and when?
Open Settings → Country rules & consent. Each country row says if SMS, WhatsApp, calls and AI calls are allowed. It also sets the local hours. Every call and message runs this check before it goes out. A refused attempt is logged.
What you will need
- Admin or CEO rights to edit. Everyone else can read the grid.
- Your own legal review. These values are settings, not legal advice.
Steps
- 1
Step 1
Open Settings → Country rules & consent in SalesCrew.
- 2
Step 2
Click the pencil on a row to change a channel to Allowed, Consent needed or Not allowed.
- 3
Step 3
Set the local hours, or turn them off to block that country at any time.
- 4
Step 4
Click Add country for a country that is not in the list. Use its two-letter code.
- 5
Step 5
The Unknown row covers everyone else. It can only be made stricter.
- 6
Step 6
Click Import list to bring in opted-in people or a do-not-contact list. Add the source and the date.
Common errors
- "The Unknown row can only be made stricter"
- pick a stricter value or narrower hours.
- An import is refused
- add the source and the date the consent was given.
- A person is blocked outside hours
- the check uses their timezone, or both ends of a wide country.
How you know it worked
The grid shows your values. Try a call to a test contact outside its hours. It appears under Blocked by the check.
Where this goes in SalesCrew
Settings → Country rules & consent shows your grid, and a blocked attempt appears under Blocked by the check. In your own workspace the same how-to opens beside the field, with your callback URLs filled in.
