How do I connect Beehiiv so subscribes and unsubscribes sync?

Paste your Beehiiv API key and publication id under Settings → Beehiiv and click Save & test. People who agree to the newsletter are pushed to Beehiiv. Beehiiv sends back subscribes and unsubscribes. An unsubscribe stops the newsletter only. Replies and 1:1 email still work.

What you will need

  • A Beehiiv account on the Lite plan or above. Webhooks need Lite.
  • Admin rights in SalesCrew.

Steps

    In Beehiiv open Settings → API. Create a key and copy it.

    Copy your publication id. It starts with pub_.

    In SalesCrew open Settings → Beehiiv (newsletter). Paste both and click Save & test.

    The publication name appears when the test passes.

    In Beehiiv open Settings → Webhooks. Add the URL shown on the page.

    Pick the events subscription.confirmed, subscription.created and subscription.deleted.

    Copy the signing secret Beehiiv shows. Paste it into the webhook field and click Save.

    Turn on double opt-in in Beehiiv.

Common errors

"Beehiiv didn't accept this key"
copy the whole key again from Beehiiv.
Unsubscribes arrive only at night
the webhook or its signing secret is missing.
A push is refused
the person is on Suppression for the newsletter, email or all channels.

How you know it worked

The page shows Connected and a last sync time. Push one test contact. The sync log shows a row going to Beehiiv.

Where this goes in SalesCrew

Settings → Beehiiv shows Connected, and the sync log fills after the first push. In your own workspace the same how-to opens beside the field, with your callback URLs filled in.
