How do I attach an image, a video or a PDF to a content post?
Open the post, or click New post. In the Media box, click Upload files or drop files on it. For a big video, paste a public link and click Add link. Then save. Metricool gets the files when you schedule.
What you will need
- Content switched on.
- A post you can edit. New posts take media too.
- Files of 25 MB or less. Put a bigger file on Google Drive, Dropbox or your site and paste its link.
Steps
- 1
Step 1
Open Content. Click New post, or open a post from the calendar.
- 2
Step 2
In Media, click Upload files. Pick one file or many. You can also drop them on the box.
- 3
Step 3
To use a link, paste it in the link box. If SalesCrew cannot tell the type, pick Image, Video or PDF. Click Add link.
- 4
Step 4
Use the arrows to set the order. The first file comes first in a carousel.
- 5
Step 5
Type alt text for each image. Answer AI-made? for each video.
- 6
Step 6
To set a video cover, add a JPG or PNG and set it to Video cover.
- 7
Step 7
Open Network options on a network to pick a Reel, a Story, a YouTube title or a Pinterest board.
- 8
Step 8
Check the list under Media. A tick means that network has what it needs.
- 9
Step 9
Click Save. Then click Schedule.

How you know it worked
Each network under Media shows a tick, and the post schedules without a red check.
Where this goes in SalesCrew
Each network under Media shows a tick, and the post schedules without a red check. In your own workspace the same how-to opens beside the field, with your callback URLs filled in.
