How do I track directory listings, review asks and other off-site work?
Open Trackers, pick the tab for the kind of job, and add a row. The row's next step goes on the owner's Today. Finish the step with its proof and the row moves on by itself.
What you will need
- The Trackers module switched on for SalesCrew.
- The tracker grant on your user. A manager adds it under Users & roles.
Steps
- 1
Step 1
Open Trackers in the sidebar. Each tab is one tracker type, such as Directories or Reviews.
- 2
Step 2
Click New row. Fill in the name and the fields. Set an owner and a due date.
- 3
Step 3
The step now sits on the owner's Today as a task.
- 4
Step 4
Do the work outside the CRM. Then open the row and tick the step.
- 5
Step 5
Some stages need proof. Paste the link, or attach a file when the stage allows one.
- 6
Step 6
The row moves to the next stage. Its next step shows up as a new task.
- 7
Step 7
To add a new kind of job, open Settings → Trackers and click Add type.
Common errors
- The row did not move
- the next stage needs proof. Look for the "Add proof" task, then add the link.
- Can't remove a stage
- rows still use it. Move those rows first.
- You can't see Trackers
- ask a manager for the tracker grant.
How you know it worked
The row shows its new stage and its proof link. Ask your assistant to run tracker_get on the row to see its steps.
Where this goes in SalesCrew
The row shows its new stage and its proof link on the Trackers page. In your own workspace the same how-to opens beside the field, with your callback URLs filled in.
