How do I ask someone to fill in missing contact or company data?
A manager clicks Request enrichment on a segment or on picked companies. The owner opens the task, fills the gaps on the Enrichment sheet, and marks each row done or not found. Then they click Finish request.
What you will need
- A manager or CEO role to ask for the work.
- A segment, or some companies picked on the Data Bank.
- A person in SalesCrew to own the work. Their own AI can do it for them.
Steps
- 1
Step 1
Open Data Bank → Segments. Click the sparkle icon on a row.
- 2
Step 2
Or open Data Bank → Companies, tick some companies, and click Request enrichment.
- 3
Step 3
Pick Contacts or Companies. Write a short brief. Set people per company, an owner, and a due date.
- 4
Step 4
Click Request enrichment. One request holds at most 500 items.
- 5
Step 5
The owner sees the task on Today and Tasks. They click Open to reach the Enrichment sheet.
- 6
Step 6
On each row, type the missing fields. For a company, click Add person for each person found.
- 7
Step 7
Open Research notes to add a summary and facts, like the tools they use.
- 8
Step 8
Click Done or Not found on each row. The bar at the top shows the progress.
- 9
Step 9
When no row is left to do, click Finish request.
Common errors
- Finish request is grey
- some rows are still to do. Use the To do filter to find them.
- A row says the email belongs to another contact
- that person is already in the CRM. Add them by email on the company row and they are linked, not copied.
- A cleared field came back
- enrichment fills and fixes fields. It never empties one.
- No Request button
- only a manager or the CEO can ask.
How you know it worked
The sheet shows every row done or not found, and the request shows as finished. A new email stays unverified until it is checked. Ask your assistant to run enrichment_request_get on the request to see the same rows.
Where this goes in SalesCrew
The request shows every item done or not found, and its task is closed. In your own workspace the same how-to opens beside the field, with your callback URLs filled in.
