GlockApps ranks first here: one published plan list covers inbox placement tests, DMARC analytics and IP reputation monitors, with consulting services on top. If your problem is cold outreach landing in spam, SalesCrew is our pick. It enforces daily caps and suppression on every send, at $299 a month.

Our pick for outbound teams: SalesCrew

Disclosure: SalesCrew is our product. It sits outside the ranked list because it's a CRM that controls the sending side. Most cold email lands in spam because of how it was sent: too many emails from one mailbox, or a message to someone who already bounced. SalesCrew spreads each cadence across your own sender pool, caps every mailbox and domain per day, and sends inside business hours. It re-checks the suppression list at send time, and bounces or complaints are suppressed on arrival. Core is $299 a month with unlimited seats and a 14-day trial.

The short answer

  • GlockApps publishes a free plan and three paid plans. They bundle spam tests, DMARC analytics, uptime and IP reputation monitors, and GlockApps offers consulting on top, per glockapps.com/pricing, September 2026.
  • Mailgun lists Mailgun Optimize with inbox placement, reputation monitoring and deliverability services with dedicated expert support, per mailgun.com/pricing, September 2026.
  • Folderly prices its main product per mailbox. It gives away Pulse spam-placement alerts and 2 Inbox Insights tests a month, per folderly.com/pricing, September 2026.
  • SalesCrew, our product, controls deliverability at the send: per-mailbox and per-domain daily caps, a send window, and suppression checked before every email.

How we ranked these deliverability services

We scored what a buyer searching for a deliverability service pays for. Human expert help carries 30% of the score, since that's the difference between a service and a dashboard. Inbox placement testing carries 25%, and DMARC or authentication monitoring carries 25%. A published price carries the last 20%, because you should know the cost before a sales call.

We read every fact on the vendor's own pricing page in September 2026. Disclosure: SalesCrew is our product, and it sits in the Our pick box because this method scores testing and consulting services.

What each deliverability service gives you

1. GlockApps

GlockApps covers the most ground on one price list. The free plan has 2 spam test credits, 10,000 DMARC messages and 5 uptime monitors for one user. Paid plans add more test credits, DMARC volume, IP reputation monitors and extra users, billed monthly or yearly. GlockApps also sells consulting services for hands-on help. Checked on glockapps.com/pricing, September 2026.

2. Mailgun Optimize

Mailgun Optimize is the deliverability line of Mailgun's email platform. It lists inbox placement, reputation monitoring and deliverability services with dedicated expert support. Mailgun Inspect tests emails before a send, and Mailgun Validate cleans lists. It fits a company whose mail already runs through Mailgun. Checked on mailgun.com/pricing, September 2026.

3. Folderly

Folderly is deliverability software priced per mailbox, focused on keeping each sender's reputation healthy. Inbox Insights checks placement, IPs and DNS records before a campaign, with a free tier of 2 tests a month. Pulse sends spam-placement alerts by email, Slack or SMS at no cost. Checked on folderly.com/pricing, September 2026.

4. MailReach

MailReach pairs automated warm-up with spam testing. You pay per mailbox for warm-up, and the All-In-One plan includes at least 20 spam test credits. Each mailbox gets health checks for blacklists, SPF, DKIM and DMARC, plus a reputation dashboard and an AI assistant called Co-Pilot. Checked on mailreach.co/pricing, September 2026.

How to choose a deliverability service

Start with what's broken. If a domain is already on a blacklist or failing DMARC, you want a person reading your records. GlockApps and Mailgun both list human help on their pricing pages.

If you just need to know where mail lands, a placement test is enough. GlockApps, Folderly and MailReach all sell tests, and the first two give a few away free each month.

If you send cold outreach, look at the sending side too. SalesCrew spreads each cadence across your sender pool. It keeps at least 3 days between touches to one contact, and it pauses a cadence when the prospect replies. See what a sender pool is and how SalesCrew cadences apply the caps.

Questions

What does an email deliverability service actually do?
A deliverability service tests where your email lands, watches your sender reputation and helps you fix what sends mail to spam. The tools on this page run inbox placement tests, DMARC reports, blacklist checks or mailbox warm-up. GlockApps and Mailgun also list human deliverability help on their pricing pages, checked September 2026.
Is there a free email deliverability tool?
Yes. GlockApps has a free plan with 2 spam test credits, 5 uptime monitors and 1 IP reputation monitor, per glockapps.com/pricing. Folderly offers a free Inbox Insights tier with 2 tests a month and free Pulse alerts, per folderly.com/pricing. Both were checked in September 2026.
Do I need a deliverability consultant or just a tool?
Most senders start with a tool and call in a person when a domain is already in trouble. A test shows you the spam folder; an expert reads your DNS records, bounce logs and sending pattern to find why. GlockApps sells consulting services, and Mailgun lists deliverability services with a dedicated expert, per their pricing pages in September 2026.
Why did you leave out Validity Everest?
Validity's Everest pricing URL now redirects to litmus.com/pricing, which says Litmus is part of Validity Engage. That page listed no plan or deliverability detail we could check in September 2026, so Everest falls outside a method built on published facts.
How is SalesCrew different from these services?
SalesCrew is a CRM that sends, so it controls deliverability at the moment of sending. It caps each mailbox and each domain per day, sends only in business hours and re-checks suppression before every email. Bounces and complaints go straight onto the suppression list. Pair it with a testing tool from this list to watch placement.
